Carma Que Kennels About Us !
|
I had shown and bred Great Danes for 28 years, in 1982 I saw my first Bernese and fell deeply
in love. After a long period of research and a good wait I received my first Bernese in 1984,
Halidom's Amorous Amos "Cash". Cash although not a show dog was a great friend and
obedience dog, earning his CD and CDX. Later I was blessed to purchase my next several
Bernese from Sandusky Kennels, it is through these wonderful girls that I have been able to
begin a show and breeding program that I and my daughter Brenda Calvelage, who has joined
me in my Bernese adventures, are very proud of. Our goals are to protect and preserve this
breed that we have made the center of our lives. We are very concerned with the health and
longevity of our dogs. The last several years have been delightfully unforgettable and we have
this magnificent breed to thank.
We have a small boarding and grooming kennel in northwestern Ohio. I live inside the kennel
with the dogs and Brenda lives in the house right out front with 4 dogs and her family. Teresa
and her family are only 5 miles away ! This allows us to spend lots of time with the dogs (ours
as well as the ones we have here in our care).
Thank you for visiting us today.
